І. Вступ

1) Привітання

T: - Good morning, my dear children!

            We are very glad to see you.

T:  -  I am happy to greet you at our English lesson.

  • How are you?

 

Cl -  We are well! We are fine!

- We are OK! We are all right!

 

T - Sit down, please. Sit still.

- Are you ready for the lesson?

  1. - Yes, of course.
  1. - Show me your pens, books and exercise – books!
  • You are very good pupils.

- Dear, children! Today we have a fairy lesson. We’ll meet a guest. We’ll play, sing song, read, write and describe. We’ll have a lot of work at the lesson.

 

(музика, заходить до класу дівчинка - Зима)

Miss Winter: - Hello, children!

This is season

When children ski

And Father Frost

Brings New Year tree.

 

  1. - Thank you. Guess! What season is it?

Cl. - It is Winter.

  1. - Yes, of course. And it’s the name of our dear guest. She will help me today.

 

Miss Winter:  – Yes. What holidays do we celebrate in winter?

P - The New Year

  1. - Christmas
  1. - That’s why, the theme of our lesson is “Happy Winter. Holidays”. And, how do English people congratulate each other on Christmas?
  1. - Merry Christmas!
  1. - And on the New Year Day?
  1. - Happy New Year.
  1. - You are right. Look at the book. What else do English people congratulate each other?

- That’s why. The New Year and Christmas are the most favourite holidays for English and Ukrainian. In England Santa Claus brings presents to all children. Today you’ll get presents too. But we have an unusual holiday’s lesson.

3.Фонетична зарядка.

 

  1. - My dear, pupils! And what poem about holiday’s do you know?
  1. - New Year’s Day.
  1. - Listen to me!

ІІ. Основна частина уроку.

  1. Введення лексичних одиниць.

 

  1. - Children, answer questions. What do people decorate before the New Year?
  1. - A New Year’s Day.
  1. - Do you want to decorate our New Year’s tree?
  1. - Yes, of course.
  1. - But we need to learn some words for this. Look at the screen! Listen to me! Be attentive.

 

(слова читає вчитель)

  • Now, listen to me and repeat after me!

 

(учні читають за вчителем, метод «Ехо» : snowflake, icicle, fir-tree, pine-tree, New Year, about, stocking, bells).

  • Now, read the transcriptions this word yourselves.
  • That’s very nice.
  • Look at your desk. There are vocabularies with new words. They help you at the lesson.
  1. Гра «Прикрасити ялинку»

 

  • Let’s decorate our tree. First, what is it? I have put some decorations for our New Year’s tree in this stocking.
  • Help me, please, Miss Winter.

 

(вчитель дістає з панчохи іграшки, а Зимонька прикрашає ними ялинку)

  • What is it?
  • It is snowflake(snowman, Santa Claus, icicle, bells, stocking).
  • Thank you very much.

Do you like our New Year’s tree?

  1. - Yes, very much.
    1. - Look! Our fir – tree is very fine and beautiful thanks to you.

  1. - And now, we’ll read a text about our New Year’s tree. Look on page 52 find ex.5.

Listen to me. Be ready to read after me and to answer the questions after the text.

  1. - And, now let’s play a game. Look at the screen. You see the crossword and you must translate these words. Fill in the crossword and find a key – word.

And say “Good - bye”!

  1. - Dear children! Miss Winter is interested in. Do you like winter?

- What can children do in winter?

  1. - The children can play snowballs

P .- The children can make snowman.

T.- Answer my questions. Be attentive. Look at the blackboard.

 

(вчитель звертає увагу дітей на схеми)

1.Can you skate/ski and sledge?

2. Do you like to play snowballs?

3. Do you like to make snowman?

Yes/No, I do/don’t

T.- And now you can see drawings you have prepared earlier. Tell what you can/can’t do in winter and what you like to do /don’t like to do.

Miss Winter: - I see you like me very much. Thanks, children.

  1. - Look at the screen. What do I describing a picture?
  1. The children like to play snowballs.
  2. There is a fine and big pine – tree in the room.
  3. Father Frost gives presents on the New Year’s Day.
  4. The children are around the New Year’s Tree.

 

T.- You are perfect.

 

  1. Письмо.

T.- My dear, pupils, you know all children in England write letters to Santa Claus. Look at the screen. This is Tom’s letter. Let’s read it.

Thank you. Now you’ll write your own letters to Santa Claus. Write what presents you want to get. There are presents of Santa Claus. But remember he gives his presents only to good children. I know you are very good pupils.

 

(учні пишуть листи Санта Клаусу)

 

T.- Time is over. Are you ready? Finish your letters.

Put your letters into this envelop. Miss Winter will give it to Santa Claus.

 

III. Висновок.

  1. Домашнє завдання.

 

  1. - Open your day – books, write ex.5 p. 52, ex. 4 p. 51

По бажанню виконати ще одне творче завдання, виготовити листівку своєму однокласнику чи однокласниці, друзям чи рідним та написати поздоровлення англійською мовою, які сьогодні ми сьогодні чули на уроці.

Не забувайте, скоро наступають свята. Привітайте своїх рідних і побажайте усього найкращого. З такими побажаннями ми звернемося до наших гостей і для них заспіваємо пісню “We wish you…”
